How does the seat identify a user?
A proprietary bio-identification algorithm distinguishes individual users, only displaying health data of a designated user to the appropriate provider or care team.
Who can bill for the Heart Seat, and what are the requirements in order to be reimbursed for the product?
The Heart Seat can be billed by providers through existing RPM CPT codes. Casana will charge providers a monthly fee for the data.

Yes. The Heart Seat has obtained FDA clearance for heart rate and blood oxygenation. Casana will not be commercializing this medical device until receiving additional clearance for non-invasive cuffless blood pressure.
