Question 1

It's a toilet seat. Isn't that a little strange?

Accepted Answer

It replaces your existing seat and looks completely normal. Your health gets checked without you ever having to think about it.

Question 2

Do I have to use it every day?

Accepted Answer

No. A few sits a week is enough to track your trends. There's nothing to keep up with.

Question 3

Is it watching me? Is my data safe?

Accepted Answer

No camera and no microphone, ever. All data is encrypted. Your data is shared only if and when you choose.

Question 4

What about guests?

Accepted Answer

The Smart Seat recognizes up to five registered people in your home using BioID. Guests can use the Smart Seat normally; the Seat won't calculate vitals for anyone who isn't registered.

Question 5

Is it accurate? Can I trust it?

Accepted Answer

The Smart Seat vitals are built on a decade of clinical research and validation. You'll see your readings as trends against your own normal.

Question 6

Will it replace my doctor or my blood-pressure cuff?

Accepted Answer

No. The Smart Seat is a wellness device. It helps you notice when something's worth a conversation with your doctor. It doesn't diagnose or replace a doctor or blood-pressure cuff.

Question 7

Do I need to be tech-savvy?

Accepted Answer

If you can use a simple app, you're set. Setup takes minutes, and there's nothing to wear or charge.

Question 8

How do I share my data?

Accepted Answer

You may elect to share data with loved ones and / or caregivers inside the Casana app. You may also export your data to share with your healthcare provider.
